Even before we start working on a project for a semster, just picking the right project becomes so stressful, with all the bidding and begging we do. I chose Ramayana Remix for the richness of the Epic, to go back to theater and to stay creative without heavily depending on software. I was hoping the Visual Communication 4th year would not mean stapling my eyes to my brow in front of a screen. 

I've tried to compile all the surprises that greeted me in this project through my collage- all the opportunities I could barely have dreamed about. To travel to Kerela and live the privilege of learning shadow puppet making from the Pullavar family. To travel at all in the middle of fourth year! To be able to see the epic as a story of all humankind, not the story of Gods and to be able to relate to the characters, not through imitation but through reinterpretation. What we value in the past remixed with our own values.

And lastly, the love and trust that I received from everyone in the group. I'm glad I was able to connect with you guys and appreciate your awesomeness! I was very grateful that you put your trust in me during NIMHANS, it made me the happiest to have us  perform flawlessly with the ultimate result ( that of the group's boys being asked for their number. Woohoo Success!) Thank you. I hope no one felt bossed around at that time, I'm sorry if it came across as that.

There're many valuable experiences coming Ramayana Remix's way and I will join the group when I am able to contribute. From here, it's only uphill and beyond for us. It's a mighty ocean to cross but we know our strengths. All the best. = ) Loadsa love! Groupie forever.
