How difficult is it to be married to a god?
(or a godlike being or an incarnation of a god, supposing, that she somehow feels this)
How difficult is it to be royal or godlike? To be an idol?
To be an ideal of a couple?
How unfree does this make you?
How scared must she be of Rama of doing the slightest mistake?
(..if even the birds in the palace are female..)
Where do all her desires and wishes go?
Where does her own personality go if she is at the side of a godlike being?
What are her secret desires and wishes?
Does Ravana somehow incorporate or fulfill them?

  4. I don't think it was very difficult for her, because according to the story she was immensely in love with Rama and come what may she always thought about him and believed in him. Her love for Rama never reduced or she never disrespected him even after she was sent for agni pariksha though she did feel bad. She was a very strong willed and committed woman.
But at this point i think it was that she gave in and went back inside the earth.
I am sure these times of trial must be very difficult for her and it is only a strong woman who can withstand all these trials and still offer the same love and care even for the person whom she hated the most. (when Ravan becomes her son according to 300 ramayanas).
